Search and links
SQLite FTS5 over every note, ranked to favour titles. [[Wiki links]] between notes, with a panel showing everything that points at the one you have open.
Fast navigation
Keyboard first
Ctrl N new note, Ctrl S flush, Ctrl K search, Ctrl Shift F find in the open note, and Ctrl + / − to scale the whole UI.
Local by default
Plain files
Markdown with a small YAML header, in a watched folder. Edit a note in vim and sudonotes catches up without clobbering what you were typing.
Ideas in context
Project linking
Mirror an idea into a repository's IDEAS.md and keep it gitignored. It detects the project's icon and name, and lets you import an existing IDEAS.md instead of overwriting it.
